The works covered 0.6 km of L7 dam, 120 m cofferdam, 200 m bund, and 154 m spillway. The project included bush clearing, construction of a 22 m wide gravel carriageway, earthworks and embankment formation, installation of 30 m × 7.2 m concrete pipe culverts, excavation of a 10 m wide and 5 m deep spillway, and provision of safety berms.
